Lizzie recently graduated from the University of Surrey with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Throughout her course, she completed a variety of modules covering multiple scientific disciplines, including a mathematics module, biochemistry and drug discovery, and physical chemistry.
In her final year, she specialised in electrochemistry, which involved fundamentals of chemistry, physics and engineering. She gained further scientific expertise by undertaking a year in industry in a research and development pharmaceutical laboratory.
Lizzie has previous experience teaching both 1-1 and full class environments as a Maths tutor and sports instructor. She’s taught from beginner level all the way to advanced supervision. She enjoys sharing what she’s passionate about, helping develop a love for STEM in young people and watching individuals grow and improve.
In her spare time, she trains in both taekwondo and jiu jitsu, and loves to cycle. Additionally, she stays creative by playing the violin, the drums, and painting.
