Kate holds a Master’s degree in Research Psychology from Rhodes University in South Africa, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology. During her academic journey, Kate gained valuable experience tutoring first to third-year university Psychology students, supporting them across key theoretical and research-focused modules.
Her deep understanding of psychological concepts and passion for the subject make her an engaging and insightful Psychology tutor.
Following graduation, Kate completed her CELTA qualification and moved to Vietnam, where she has been teaching English for over eight years. She previously worked for ITG for two years, supporting our Psychology students.
Her English teaching includes exposure to a wide range of text types, including literary analysis, and she has successfully prepared adult learners for the IELTS exam.
Kate is dedicated to nurturing a love for learning and takes pride in helping students grow in both confidence and understanding.
Outside of teaching, Kate is an avid reader and an animal enthusiast.
