Anya graduated in 2023 with a first-class honours Bachelor of Science degree. In her final year, she specialised in Applied Maths but also completed various Science courses throughout her degree. These included Theoretical Physics up to her third year, as well as earlier courses in experimental Physics, Biology, and Global Environmental change.
During her final year of university, Anya became a tutor in the Mathematics and Statistics department, where she primarily tutored first-year university students and occasionally more advanced classes. She gained experience tutoring in both classroom settings and one-on-one sessions.
Anya enjoys making Maths and Science accessible to students by tailoring her explanations to suit their unique ways of thinking.
Since graduating, Anya has worked in the outdoor education sector, working with children of all ages and abilities. She has enjoyed teaching new skills and helping children face their fears while motivating each individual based on their needs.
In her spare time, Anya enjoys staying active by mixing yoga, walking, calisthenics, and running. She also loves spending time in nature, drawing, painting, and experimenting with cooking.
