Libby recently graduated from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 in Mathematics. During her three years at university, she worked as an online tutor, providing GCSE and A-level support to students of varying abilities. She is an enthusiastic learner who enjoys sharing knowledge and tailoring content to suit different learning styles.
In the final year of her degree, Libby completed a teaching module that included a school placement at a primary school. There, she supported pupils with lower mathematical confidence, helping them prepare for their SATs. She also conducted a first-class research project investigating the factors that cause stress when learning mathematics and successfully explored and implemented strategies to reduce it.
Outside the classroom, Libby enjoys playing netball and represented the Maths and Physics Society team at university. She also loves going on long walks and often unwinds in the evenings with a good book, as she is an avid reader.
