Olive holds a First Class Honours degree in Immunology and Pharmacology from the University of Strathclyde, a Master’s degree in Cancer Therapies (Distinction), and an MPhil in Cancer Sciences from the University of Manchester.
Throughout her studies, Olive developed a solid understanding of core chemical and biological principles, mathematical reasoning, experimental design, and data analysis. Her postgraduate research focused on cancer therapies and research, combining advanced Biology, Chemistry, and quantitative scientific methods.
Alongside her academic work, Olive has extensive real-world laboratory experience. In these roles, she has trained and mentored new colleagues and master’s students, strengthening her ability to explain challenging material clearly, logically, and patiently to her students.
She brings this academic rigour and practical scientific insight into her tutoring, creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students build confidence, understanding, and strong exam techniques.
Outside of tutoring, Olive is an avid rugby fan and enjoys attending music festivals and theatre shows, as well as swimming and rowing in her spare time.
