Ciara graduated in 2021 from the University of Sheffield with a BA (Hons) in English. Literature. Prior to university, she achieved A* and A grades in A-Level Psychology, English Literature and History. She brings a strong foundation in communication, analysis, and critical thinking.

Since graduating, Ciara has worked at an NHS Further Education College in the UK, supporting young people aged 14 and above. She specialises in preparing students for adulthood and employment, with a particular focus on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. She has extensive experience delivering both group and one-to-one sessions, always adapting her teaching to suit a wide range of learning styles.

Ciara’s approach is rooted in inclusivity and creativity. She’s passionate about building confidence, independence, and a clear sense of purpose in her students through education and mentorship. She takes a calm, student-centred approach to teaching, and her background in counselling skills helps her create safe, inclusive learning spaces where students feel seen and supported. Ciara’s ongoing commitment to professional development, combined with her love of English, fosters an effective teaching style in which students can recognise their full potential.

Outside the classroom, Ciara enjoys travelling, cooking, and listening to a range of podcasts.
