She brings a strong foundation in communication, analysis, and critical thinking — skills that underpin her effective teaching in both English and Maths.
Since graduating, Ciara has worked at an NHS Further Education College in the UK, supporting young people aged 14 and above. She specialises in preparing students for adulthood and employment, with a particular focus on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Through this work, she has gained extensive experience delivering both group and one-to-one sessions, helping students strengthen core skills in literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving.
Ciara’s teaching approach is rooted in inclusivity and creativity. She’s passionate about building confidence, independence, and academic foundations in her students through personalised English and Maths instruction. Calm, patient, and student-centred, Ciara draws on her background in counselling skills to create safe, supportive learning spaces where students feel seen and encouraged. Her ongoing commitment to professional development, combined with her love of teaching, ensures her students make steady progress and recognise their full potential.
