Hannah is a passionate and dedicated English tutor with a First Class Honours degree in English Language and Linguistics from the University of Birmingham. Her academic background includes specialisms in child language development, sociolinguistics, critical discourse analysis, and ESL teaching, strengthening her ability to support students with structured writing, language use, and analysing a wide range of texts.
With over three years of experience working with students of all ages, Hannah is skilled at designing engaging, learner-centred lessons that build confidence and critical thinking. She has a particular talent for supporting younger learners through storytelling, games, and creative activities that strengthen early literacy and communication.
For older students, including those preparing for standardised tests such as the SAT, as well as IGCSE & IB, Hannah offers clear, structured guidance in both reading and writing. She helps students break down complex texts, develop strong analytical skills, and express their ideas with clarity and confidence.
Outside tutoring, Hannah is a freelance melody and lyric writer, musician, and visual artist. Her creative background adds a unique flair to her lessons, allowing her to connect with students through expressive and imaginative approaches.
In her spare time, she enjoys writing, performing, drawing, and spending time outdoors.
