Huy graduated with a First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London. He later went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Artificial Intelligence at the same institution.
His studies have provided him with a strong understanding in the application of mathematical and physics principles, which he readily brings into his teaching style with clarity and enthusiasm.
Huy has professional experience as a Fire Engineering Consultant, where he collaborated with architects and used advanced computational tools to model real-world systems. This hands-on experience has allowed him to connect abstract concepts to practical applications, helping students see the real-world value in what they learn.
As a former Student Services Advisor, Huy has experience supporting learners’ individual needs and creating a calm, approachable learning environment. His structured yet flexible teaching style makes him particularly effective with high school and early college-level students who might be preparing for further education.
Outside of tutoring, Huy has a passion for Vietnam’s rich food culture and enjoys recreating dishes in his kitchen.
He’s involved in martial arts, weightlifting and yoga.
Exploring psychotherapy has been of particular interest recently, and he enjoys debating topics related to this field, exploring the links between technology, mental health, and society as a whole.
